An article I’m pondering on –

Four Types of Stress and How to Recognize Them – We can’t take away the stress from our lives. So it’s better to learn about it and make the most out of that knowledge. So I recently learned there is more than one type of stress. One is Distress and another is Eustress (got to learn about it from The Four hour work week book). But there is a total of 4 types. The above article talks about the definition of all four.

"Jamaica Farewell" . This picture from this amazingly cushy café nestled in the foot of Kala Ghoda reminds me of the old Harry Belafonte song titled abive which I used to play frequently in my teen days – . . Down the way where the nights are gay And the sun shines daily on the mountain top I took a trip on a sailing ship And when I reached Jamaica I made a stop . But I'm sad to say I'm on my way Won't be back for many a day My heart is down My head is turning around I had to leave a little girl in Kingston Town . Sounds of laughter everywhere And the dancing girls sway to and fro I must declare my hear is there Though I've been from Maine to Mexico . Down the market you can hear Ladies cry out while on their heads they bear Ackee rice, salt fish are nice And the rum is fine any time of the year . Down the way where the nights are gay And the sun shines daily on the mountain top I took a trip on a sailing ship And when I reaghed Jamaica I made a stop. . . Though the song is about Jamaica and the picture depicts the gateway of India. But the spirit feels the same. . . . #paintings #café #mumbai #jamaica #harrybelafonte

An interesting story I found on YouTube —

How This Cyclist Hit 184MPH and set the World Record — Denise Mueller-Korenek shattered the previous land-speed record for the fastest human on a bicycle on earth by hitting 184 Miles per hour. Don’t say, Oh C’mon this can’t be done. Look at the process of how this kind of record-setting works it’s fascinating and what she’s done requires daredevil will.

A song I’m listening to while writing —

Time by Hans Zimmer – This is one of my favourite Hans Zimmer songs. This song makes you feel incredibly alive but also terrified at the same time, like you are living in the moment but the time is passing by.

Quote I’m pondering on lately –

“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”

As Ludwig famously said –

Less is More.

We are always running behind something and someone. When we don’t really know the meaning of this philosophy, we may want everything we see.

In the past 10 years of my life, I’ve slowly started to comprehend this fact. That less is more and this eventually became a fundamental value of whatever I do.

There are many other learnings like this which shaped me as a person in past 10 years. I thought to share these with you, as some of you might be in your twenties and find them helpful. So I jotted down these 26 learnings from past 10 years of my life as A to Z below.

How did I learn them you ask? I have learned these from various books, people and experiences.

I wish I had known these 26 things when I was 20 years old but here they are for you. The 26 reminders –
