Product I’m enjoying using –

RRUNN handheld bottle by Unived

RRUNN Handheld | Photograph by Himanshu Sachdeva

I got this amazing product in January 2017 as a contest win prize right after SCMM 2017. I wanted to use it immediately, but due to work commitment and travelling, my running routine took a back seat for many weeks. But last Sunday I got to test this handheld bottle on my Parsik Hill run. I’m just loving this bottle because to its sports friendliness. Few features which a runner would want –

  • Light weight design
  • Firm grip – Makes it really comfortable and utilitarian while running
  • BPA Free – Meaning it doesn’t contain any cancer causing chemical which is usually found in plastic bottles
  • Suck Lock – This bottle has a suck lock seal, meaning you have to suck the top of it to sip the water. As soon as you release the suck there is a rubber seal which locks the bottle from inside, that way water doesn’t come out, even if you put the bottle upside down. Cool concept and really handy if you are a sports person.

Kudos to Unived again for this amazing product. If you are an athlete or a sports person then I think you will love this bottle. At the price point of Rs. 250/- (just under $4) it’s a steal. Click the picture above if you want to buy one. (I don’t have any affiliation with Unived however this is just some love pouring in for a good product)

My most popular Instagram post recently

Official Guinness world record attempt for world’s tallest Sand Castle

Fortunately, I took this picture on the same day when Sudarsan Pattnaik created a world record at Puri Beach on Saturday, 11th Feb 2017 by building a sand castle 48 feet and 8 inches tall. He broke the record of 45 feet and 10 inches sand castle which was created in the USA. I just feel great to have witnessed this amazing Sand Castle and this world record attempt event.

Article I’m enjoying (and pondering)

Commercialism in Music Is Totally Justified

A great article putting some like on commercialism in Music while putting some light on the career of Justin Timberlake. I loved the line from this article –

The artistic merit of work that experiences commercial success is not diminished by its profitability.

What I’m reading/watching/listening to — This past week the below video made me think how social media can be brought to good use by influencers. When few YouTube stars teamed up with a Hollywood star, Ben Stiller to raise a million dollars for a famine which is currently happening in Somalia. They did it successfully. Their fundraising story is amazing along with the fact how Jerome got to know about the situation in Somalia, just watch the video.

WE HAVE 10 DAYS TO GET A MILLION DOLLAR$

Pssss- 02:55 That Ben Stiller laugh!… Priceless!

Quote I’m pondering on lately –

“The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.”

― Jalaluddin Rumi

Until Next Saturday!

Thanks for reading.

Would you like to get a very short pentacle (5 items) e-mail from me every Saturday with the five coolest things I’ve found that week?

It might include books, music, articles, new hacks/tricks, photographs and last but not the least people.

These “Saturday-Pentacle” emails are only available if you subscribe to my e-mail newsletter. They will not be on the blog or anywhere else. This post is just a teaser to entice you to sign up.

Try it out for a week! Unsubscribing is easy, and there’s great stuff coming next Saturday.

Just submit your email address in the below form or right here –  and you’re set.

No spam, ever. Only great stuff.

Quick endnote – as a few of you guys have told me that emails are not delivering in the Gmail primary inbox and going to promotions tab in your Gmail. I suggest below two pro tips to get my email in your Primary inbox from next time.

  • Add my From email address ([email protected]) to your Google Contacts list.
Emails from your Google Contacts always go to their Primary inbox. So go ahead and add me to your contact list.
  • Move your emails to the Primary tab.
You can teach Gmail where to deliver your messages. When you move one of my emails from Promotions tab to the Primary tab, Gmail asks whether it should always deliver my emails in your primary inbox. So please do that. You can also read more about these Gmail Help instructions.
