Music I’m listening to  — I am finding the music of Shallou pretty soothing these days and listening to it more often.

What am I watching —

Made in Mékhé – This is the story of a women entrepreneur Magatte Wade. She was born in Senegal (A country in West Africa) but spent much of her childhood in France. Growing up, she saw the extreme differences in wealth between Africa and Europe. This disparity sparked a question… Why are some countries rich, and others poor?

She found a cosmetics company skinisskin and manufacturing it in providing Mékhé, Senegal. Amazing story.

Quote I’m pondering on lately –

“You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.”

— Franz Kafka

Person I found interesting  —

Tim Kennedy – He is an American badass. Period.

I found him through Tim Ferriss and I can’t get over his personality. He is an American patriot who is on active duty with special forces. An MMA fighter and an entrepreneur. Go check him out, he is violent.

What am I watching —

The Strange Ones – Found this creepy short film on Vimeo. Amazing sound design and atmosphere in this short.

Quote I’m pondering on lately –

“The most useful insights are often found at the intersection of ideas.”

Article I’ve been pondering upon —

My Powerful 1-Hour Routine For Quick Success On Medium – If you are a writer, this is a great article to start working on the Medium platform and how you can succeed there. Real legit article with actual insight from someone who actually has achieved success. In this article, the author refers to Parkinson’s law which is often mentioned by Tim Ferriss (one of my favourite persons) –

“Parkinson’s Law dictates that a task will swell in (perceived) importance and complexity in relation to the time allotted for its completion. If I give you 24 hours to complete a project, the time pressure forces you to focus on execution, and you have no choice but to do only the bare essentials.”

What am I watching —

Denali – I almost cried after watching this short movie. It’s the story of the dog Denali and Ben.

Quote I’m pondering on lately –

One tree hill! . The magnificence of this point came to us accidently. While doing a round of Matheran on feet. (yes, we did the whole loop of matheran on feet in 2.5-3 hours). It was amazing. . When we were half way done and none of us had slightest idea of where one tree hill was and neither were we actually looking for it. . Call it destiny or the butterfly magic of just doing something and going for it. We saw the board of one tree hill. As we stepped the downhill stairs, in my heart i felt, we were going to see something amazing. . Then there it was, one tree hill it was right in front of us. On the slight right where the two rocks (the one we were standing upon and the one tree hill rock) met. It was a view you cannot forget. Wind was just cutting through us. We couldn't speak for few moments, delighted by the magnificence of nature we stood there. Apart from the wind, everything became still. . . P. S.: Its literally called one tree hill because there is one tree on top of the rock as you can see in the picture. . . #onetreehill #story #life #travel #matheran

Person I’ve been pondering upon —

People Who Have “Too Many Interests” Are More Likely To Be Successful According To Research – Even though many of our cultures say that ‘jack of all and master of none’ is being a generalist. However it’s not perceived to be good. Like chinese people say – “Equipped with knives all over, yet none is sharp,”. But still the most impactful individuals , both contemporary and historical, have been generalists: Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Richard Feynman, Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison. But i think in modern world, it’s not about jack of all and master of none. It’s almost reaching to the point of virtual master of all. This is an interesting read Michael Simmons. Check it out.

What am I watching —

MOVE – Can’t believe this super short film is from 7 years ago. So much creativity in this world.

P.S.: Your head might hurt after watching it.
